More than just a race against time, the Dakar Rally demands exceptional navigation skills and outstanding endurance. One of the closest finishes in Dakar Rally history saw Honda HRC’s Ricky Brabec take a 2nd place finish after dominating throughout and winning the penultimate stage, just missing out to a 1st place spot by a frustrating 2 seconds due to a navigational error.

Overall, the Honda HRC team delivered an impressive performance at the 2026 Dakar Rally. In the RallyGP class, the team secured 2nd place (Ricky Brabec), 3rd place (Tosha Schareina), 4th place (Skyler Howes), and 6th place (Adrien Van Beveren). In the Rally2 category, Preston Campbell and Martim Ventura finished in 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
